To see the road towards Nice, the poplars, the old stone houses, remembering the mist and spookiness of La Camargue, and vineyards along the road and to the sea, the riverbed valley between mountains, and the far off mountain, to see all this again and remember, is a great longing.
Why a man goes is to train in new terrain. To challenge himself in new climates and excite himself with surprise and pain. But it is always about the training. It cannot be otherwise. It can only be by the deliverance of pleasure by the way of pain: Expanded power.
